2014 Summer mini sessions

Good God, I Love beach sessions!  And here's why:

Then this little guy gave me a run for my money:

 

And at the end of the day, I came away with this:

It may have smelled like dead fish, and many a watermelon were lugged 6.2 miles through the sand to get these shots (not really, maybe 300ft...but I can assure you, I thought I might die after hauling three at a time in the hot summer sun)...but it was all worth it!

Tyler - Truman High, Class of 2014

Tyler has to be the most easy going, laid back senior I've ever had the pleasure of taking pictures of!  We share the same last name, so he has to take things in stride...It's not easy being a Hooker, lol.

I don't think I'm allowed to have baby fever EVER again, but if I broke the rules and demanded a boy, I'm pretty sure I would hope that he turned out as sweet as this:
 

 

Rylee - queen of the power napper's

I used to be so intimidated by shooting 3 and 4 month olds...you can't smoosh them like you can with newborns since they are waaaaay beyond being posed at that age, and yet they aren't sitting up and it's a serious amount of work to get them to look at the camera.  Then I met Rylee.  After a short power nap, she was camera ready and too cute for words.  My new favorite age!

Little Miss Tanguay

It's so nice to have repeat customers-  I've been this couples photographer for three sessions now, including their wedding, and I love how their little family is growing! 

There's a little girl in there that I cant wait to meet this month!

"Z" Wedding~

Ok...this was a BEAUTIFUL wedding-  Seriously...the colors were to die for, and the location...oh, the location!  And then there's the dress...holy smokes, simply beautiful!  AND THEN THERE'S ME.  7 months pregnant, and about to pass out in the 95 degree heat.  Thank the good LORD above for my second shoot Andrea...she saved the day!  Congratulations Kara and Nick...your wedding won't soon be forgotten!
